Labels are quoted verbatim from the capture of 12 March 2023. The phrases "cards offer" and "Cards offer" are builder filler that the old site still carried; they are left unchanged because they were on the card. The home page of that archive showed the eight cards with the template prices $300 and $200 repeated; which card carried which price was not recorded, so no price is assigned to a line here.

How to choose at the counter

Read the unit before the price: whether the shelf sells by piece, by kilo or by band decides what two labels can be compared.
Weigh it in your hand before you weigh it on the scale - the smallest items are usually the freshest ones.
Look at the cut end or the base, not only the skin; it shows the age more reliably than the outside does.
Check the discount label against the unit price: a discount can sit on a line that was already the dearer one.
Take the lot home open, and use the softest items first.
